Essay1-02a Our university life

We have many kinds of Universities in Japan, for example, medical, literature, economics, dietetics, engineering and so on. Some Japanese university students are belonging to clubs like cultural, sports club. Most of the university students in Japan are working as a part-time worker. Then, they get some money to use for clubs, having foods, hanging on their friends and so on.

I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University and majoring English. I am majoring English to become a Japanese teacher in a foreign country. So, I have to gain my English skill and I need to take the more initiative than now. I usually talk to exchange student from America, Canada, New Zealand and so on to learn more natural English. When I have no plan, I usually go to the room of my club. Then, I talk to my friends or 3rd grade students about class, hobbies and the like. Of course, I have a part-time job to get some money to live. I can experience the normal life as a member of society. It is good for me for my future.

My friend also goes to Kumamoto Gakuen University and majoring English. She is belonging to a club and working as a part-time worker. But, especially, she takes a lesson in the university of to become a fright attendant. As I mentioned before, she has a part-time job and we have a lot of homework, so we do not have enough time to do other things. However she takes a lesson to succeed in her future. I really respect her that why she can focus on what she wants to do. Some people in university do not have the clear dreams but the other hands, some people have the clear dreams and begin to dreams come true.

As I mentioned till now, Japanese university students spend their each time to do many kinds of things. In addition, they are enjoying their school life even if it is busy. (331 words)

new co-worker

Yesterday, I had a part-time job. We installed two new workers. They are both university students and second grade in their university, same as me! I taught one of them to how to use register machine and so on. I have been working at the bookstore for about 4 months, but I have never taught to someone. It was my first time for teaching to someone!! However, I could review about processes, so it was a good time for me!
I want to get along with them, of course with other workers, too^^. (93 words)

my favorite food

I went to Yanagawa, Fukuoka prefecture, then, I and my parents ate Seiro-mushi. It is steamed and grilled an eel on the rice. Yanagawa is really famous for eel dishes, why our family went there expressly to eat it. We usually go there during the golden week or holidays. The shop was not so crowded because of yesterday was a usual weekend. So we could eat Seiro-mushi relatively soon!! We were so lucky^^. I had not been eating it for 2 years, I felt happy when I ate it. I want to eat it again! (95 words)

my weekend with my parents

I went to the outlet mall in Tosu, Saga with my father and my mother today. There are a lot of shops which sell at the bargain price some clothes, shoes, some stuff and so on. So, many people come from all over the Kyusyu or near prefectures of Kyusyu every week include today. We went to there by my father’s car. It took about 2 hours or 2 hours and one half. Then, I shopped there, of course my father and mother did, too^^. As my parents used to be really busy because of their work, I think they could get rid of their stress by some shopping!! I want to make good use of my leisure time with my parents forever. (123 words)

health

I always care about my health. Because if I am careless about my health, I always catch a slight or serious cold! So, I have to thoroughly care about my health.

I usually go to my university by bike but, sometimes,I intent to walk from my house to my University. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to there. So,inevitably I have to get up earlier than usual. I think these two things are good for my health! (79 words)

Drinking day

I went to drinking with my friends, Mai, Tomoko, Misato and Kana. It was my first time to go to drinking with this member. As I had to go to the English conversation school that day, after the class finished I joined them in the downtown. We had a lot of food and drinks in two hours. Especially, I liked a pizza with meat sauce!! I have never eaten such a delicious pizza! I recommend it to everyone^^* After we had dinner, went to a game center in the downtown. Then, my friend Mai spent much money to get a cute teddy bear. I think she spent about 1000 yen, so, it was proper for getting it! Because If I buy a teddy bear like that, I think I have to pay about 1000yen. Finally, she got it! As I am not good at doing that, I am envious of she is good at it very much! I had a really good time with my friends. I want to go drinking with them again!!　(174 words)

'THREE LITTLE PIGS'

In this time I read ‘The Three Little Pigs’. I have never read this story in English, but I have already read this story in Japanese. So, I could understand the detail of the story easily.

This story about three little pigs: Pinky, Percy, Poppy. One day, they lived with their mother in a normal house. However, three children became too big! So, they had to build their houses by their selves. In addition, they had to make very strong and safe house because a bad wolf prowled around their house. Pinky got some straws, Percy got some sticks, Poppy got some bricks to build each their new houses. Actually, bad wolf were hanging around their houses! At that night, bad wolf attacked them. First, bad wolf went to the straw house which Pinky made. Bad wolf blow on the house and Pinky escaped from his house. Next, bad wolf went to Percy’ house and attacked him!! Then, the house was broken by bad wolf. Pinky and Percy escaped to Poppy’s house. Her house was made of hard and strong bricks. So, bad wolf could not blow Poppy’s house. Finally, the wolf decided to march into the brick house from chimney. But, they planned to wolf lands splosh in Poppy’s cooking pot!!!! And that was the end of the bad wolf. (221 words)

I am taking part in Spanish class on every Monday in the spring term. I already had got credit of Spanish IA and Spanish IIB. So, we are learning some phrases and number in Spanish. cero, uno, dos, tres.... I want to learn about more Spanish language, and then, I want to visit to Spain in the future^^ (58 words)

Writing I・II

I learned about English grammars in Writing I・II.
First,I did not have the habit of use paragraphs when I write essay or story. So now, I always put some paragraphs. Then, I learned about concluding sentence and introduction sentence. I did not know them by my teacher told us about them. I think using them is better essay or story than not using them.(68 words)

golden week

How was your Golden week? Was it fun?? My boyfriend lives in Saitama to work at Tokyo, so he came back to Kumamoto only during the Golden week. I spend the time with him^^ I went to flower garden in Kuju, Oita on May 3rd. In fact, I planed to go to the African safari park in Yufuin, Oita with my boyfriend. But the African safari park is so far from Kumamoto city. In addition, the way to Yrufuin from Kumamoto city during the Golden week is really crowded!! It was horrible>< Some couples say’ we sometimes quarrel with each other when we are in the traffic jam’. I could understand the reason for the first time in my life. We arrived at flower garden at 11 a.m. Finally, it took about three hours. I have long wished for seeing a poppy garden, so I wanted to visit there. I am pleased about seeing a nice poppy garden!! I ate a rose flavor ice-cream cone for my first time! It was sooo delicious! I think If you have never eaten it, you have to eat it! After we went to flower garden, we held a barbecue party at my boyfriend’s home with his friends, family and so on. It was really fun! I talked a lot with other people and ate a lot of corns, meat, vegetables^^ I had a wonderful holidays!!(232 words)
